
Terms & Conditions
By registering for Sutherland Sharks Summer Soccer, you agree that all fees are paid upfront, refunds are not available except where required by law, and sessions may be rescheduled or credited if cancelled due to weather or unforeseen events. Players, parents, and spectators must follow the Club’s Code of Conduct, and all participants take part at their own risk under the Football NSW insurance program.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all participants, parents/guardians, and spectators involved in the Sutherland Sharks Summer Soccer program held at Seymour Shaw Park. By registering, you agree to abide by these terms.
1. Registrations and Payments
All registrations must be completed online and paid in full at the time of booking.
Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
All transactions are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
2. Refunds and Cancellations
Once registration is confirmed, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
In cases of illness or injury preventing participation, a credit may be offered at the discretion of Sutherland Sharks FC upon receipt of appropriate documentation.
If a program session is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, Sutherland Sharks FC will attempt to reschedule. Where this is not possible, a partial credit may be applied.
3. Player Eligibility and Conduct
All players must register in the correct age group as determined by Football NSW guidelines.
Players, parents, and spectators must abide by the Sutherland Sharks Code of Conduct at all times.
Misconduct (including abusive or antisocial behaviour) may result in suspension or removal from the program without refund.
4. Medical Conditions and Safety
Parents/guardians must disclose any relevant medical conditions at the time of registration.
Sutherland Sharks FC reserves the right to refuse participation if it believes a player’s health or safety cannot be reasonably accommodated.
Sutherland Sharks FC staff do not supply or administer medication. In the event of a serious medical condition, a medical clearance letter from a doctor may be required.
In an emergency, an ambulance will be called, and associated costs are the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
5. Weather Policy
In the event of extreme heat, lightning, or unsafe weather, sessions may be modified, postponed, or cancelled in line with Football NSW’s Hot Weather Policy.
Parents/guardians will be notified of changes by SMS or email as early as possible.
6. Insurance and Liability
Registered participants are covered under the Football NSW insurance program.
Parents/guardians are encouraged to hold additional private health insurance.
Sutherland Sharks FC accepts no liability for personal property brought onto the premises.
All individuals entering Seymour Shaw Park do so at their own risk and are responsible for their own health and safety.
7. Photography and Media
By registering, you consent to Sutherland Sharks FC using photographs and video of participants for promotional and marketing purposes.
If you do not wish for your child to be included, you must notify the Club in writing before the program begins.
8. General Rules and Behaviour
Players must wear shin pads and appropriate football boots (no metal studs or blades) at all times.
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child is dropped off and collected on time.
Only certified guide dogs are permitted on site.
Alcohol consumption is only permitted in licensed areas; BYO is not allowed.
Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises.
No food, drinks, glass bottles, chewing gum, or bubble gum are permitted on the playing surfaces.
Ball use is only permitted on designated pitches. Climbing fences, goals, or equipment is prohibited.
9. Club Rights
Sutherland Sharks FC reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel participation if a player, parent, or spectator breaches these Terms & Conditions.
Sutherland Sharks FC may amend these Terms & Conditions at any time, with updates published on the Club’s website.
