Terms & Conditions
By registering for Sutherland Sharks Summer Soccer, you agree that all fees are paid upfront, refunds are not available except where required by law, and sessions may be rescheduled or credited if cancelled due to weather or unforeseen events. Players, parents, and spectators must follow the Club’s Code of Conduct, and all participants take part at their own risk under the Football NSW insurance program.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all participants, parents/guardians, and spectators involved in the Sutherland Sharks Summer Soccer program held at Seymour Shaw Park. By registering, you agree to abide by these terms.
Introduction
Seymour Shaw Park is operated by Sutherland Sharks Football Club Inc. (“we”, “us” or “our”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. These Terms & Conditions, together with any other relevant information on this website, outline the full terms you are agreeing to when using our facilities and services.
Bookings and Payments
All transactions are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
All field hire, training ground hire, and facility bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Booking Cancellations
Full Field Hire:
A minimum of 7 days’ notice is required to cancel or change a full field booking.
Less than 7 days' notice will result in the full hire fee being charged.
Training Ground or Partial Field Hire:
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or change a booking.
Less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the full hire fee being charged.
Refunds are not provided.
Valid cancellations will receive a credit on the customer’s account with Sutherland Sharks Football Club, to be used toward future bookings.
Overdue Accounts & Outstanding Credits
Customers who fail to pay fees in full prior to the start of a booking or competition may be prohibited from participating or entering Seymour Shaw Park.
Overdue accounts may be referred to a debt collection agency, and additional fees may be added to the total payable amount.
All customer credit may be used for any products or services offered by Sutherland Sharks Football Club.
All credit expires after 365 days from the date it was issued.
Coaching Programs
Only coaching programs approved by Sutherland Sharks FC management may be conducted at Seymour Shaw.
No unauthorised commercial coaching is permitted at Seymour Shaw unless formally approved in writing.
Participants with Medical Conditions
Sutherland Sharks FC staff do not supply or administer medication.
For participants with serious or life-threatening medical conditions, a signed medical clearance letter from a doctor is required before participating in any activities. The letter must outline the medical condition and an appropriate treatment plan.
This plan will be shared with emergency services if required.
Sutherland Sharks FC does not accept responsibility for implementing individual treatment plans.
In the event of a medical emergency, an ambulance will be called, and all associated costs are the responsibility of the individual.
If a child is deemed unwell by staff, parents or guardians will be contacted as soon as possible.
Competitions & Tournaments
All players and spectators involved in Sutherland Sharks FC sanctioned competitions or tournaments must abide by the Club’s Competition Rules and Code of Conduct.
Disciplinary Process
For individuals and teams participating in Pulse Summer Soccer all disciplinary matters will be managed in accordance with Football NSW’s Disciplinary Regulations – Social Football (the current edition, as published by Football NSW for the relevant year, will be used).
Security and Safety
Seymour Shaw Park is monitored by CCTV.
Anyone displaying abusive or violent behaviour may be banned from entering Seymour Shaw.
Any illegal activity will be reported directly to NSW Police.
Ball use is only permitted on designated pitches or playing areas.
Climbing fences, goals, or equipment is strictly prohibited.
Footwear
Players must not wear boots with metal studs or blades on the fields.
Alcohol and Smoking
Alcohol consumption is permitted in assigned areas on the premises of Seymour Shaw Park as we are a licensed venue. Strictly NO BYO.
Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises of Seymour Shaw Park.
Animals
Only certified guide dogs are permitted on the premises. No other animals are allowed.
Food and Drinks
No food or drinks are permitted on the playing surfaces at Seymour Shaw.
Glass bottles are not allowed on site for safety reasons.
Chewing gum and bubble gum are not permitted anywhere on the premises.
Liability & Insurance
All individuals who enter Seymour Shaw Park participate at their own risk and are responsible for their own health and safety.
All individuals must use Seymour Shaw Park in a safe and responsible manner exercising reasonable care for their own health and safety as well as the health and safety of others using Seymour Shaw Park at the same time.
Individuals engaging in personal sporting and/or physical activities, that are not authorised or official Sutherland Sharks FC activities, on Seymour Shaw Park do so at their own risk and accept all liability for any injuries, illnesses or incidents that occur - including any consequential financial loss and medical treatment costs. Sutherland Sharks FC is not liable for any such loss, costs, injuries, illnesses, incidents occurring at Seymour Shaw Park.
Individuals involved in authorised and official Sutherland Sharks FC football matches and training sessions are covered under the Sutherland Sharks FC’s insurance policies. In this regard, Sutherland Sharks FC maintains relevant Public Liability and Workers Compensation Insurance policies.
Permitted Activities
Only activities authorised by Sutherland Sharks FC are permitted at Seymour Shaw.
Commercial activities are not allowed unless explicitly approved in writing by the Club.
Sutherland Sharks FC reserves the right to prohibit or remove any activity it deems unsafe, unauthorised, or inappropriate.
