By using this website or signing up for our text messages, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.

Everything on this website, including text, photos, video, logos and data, belongs to Sutherland Sharks FC or the people who licensed it to us. Please don’t copy, reproduce or republish it without our written permission.

Please don’t:

• Use this website or our messages for anything unlawful or harmful.
• Send abusive, defamatory or offensive material, through the contact form, the chat or anywhere else.
• Try to get into our systems without permission.

We link to other websites, like the club shop, ticketing and Football NSW. We’re not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

We work to keep this website and our messages accurate and up to date, but we can’t guarantee they’re complete or free of errors.

As far as the law allows, Sutherland Sharks FC isn’t liable for any loss, damage or expense from using this website or our messages, or from relying on what they say. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

• When you opt in, you agree to receive recurring text messages from or on behalf of Sutherland Sharks FC at the number you give us: updates, like order confirmations, and promotions, like match reminders, offers and reminders about items left in your cart. They may be sent automatically.
• Opting in is voluntary. You never need to opt in to buy anything.
• We don’t charge for our messages, but your carrier’s message and data rates may apply. How often we message you depends on how you deal with the club.
• Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. You’ll get one message confirming it, then no more unless you sign up again. Reply HELP for help, or contact us below.
• Carriers aren’t liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Please give us an accurate number, and tell us if it changes.
• If we change the number we send from, we’ll tell you. Messages sent to an old number may not arrive.
• We never share your text message opt-in or consent with anyone. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

We may update these terms at any time; the date at the top shows when they last changed. Using our website or messages after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Only activities the club has authorised may take place at Seymour Shaw. Commercial activity, including coaching programmes the club doesn’t run, needs the club’s written approval. We may stop or remove any activity we consider unsafe, unauthorised or inappropriate.

• Everyone in a club competition or tournament, playing or watching, follows the club’s Competition Rules and Code of Conduct.
• The ground is monitored by CCTV. Anyone abusive or violent may be banned, and illegal activity is reported to NSW Police.
• Use balls only on the pitches and playing areas set aside for them.
• Don’t climb fences, goals or equipment.
• No boots with metal studs or blades on the fields.

• Seymour Shaw is a licensed venue: alcohol is allowed only in the areas set aside for it, and there’s no BYO.
• No smoking anywhere at the ground.
• No food or drink on the playing surfaces, no glass bottles, and no chewing gum anywhere.

Only certified guide dogs are allowed at the ground.

• Club staff don’t supply or give medication.
• A participant with a serious or life-threatening medical condition needs a signed letter from their doctor, describing the condition and a treatment plan, before taking part. We’ll share the plan with emergency services if needed, but the club can’t take responsibility for carrying it out.
• In an emergency we call an ambulance, and its costs are the individual’s.
• If a child becomes unwell, we contact their parent or guardian as soon as we can.

• Everyone at Seymour Shaw takes part at their own risk, and must take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others.
• Players in official Sutherland Sharks FC matches and training are covered by the club’s insurance. The club holds public liability and workers compensation insurance.
• Anyone doing something at the ground that the club hasn’t authorised does so at their own risk, and accepts liability for any injury, illness or incident, including medical costs and financial loss. The club isn’t liable for these.
• Private health insurance may also cover you: check with your insurer.

Prices are in Australian dollars. Every field, training ground and facility booking is paid in full when you book.

• Full field hire: give at least 7 days’ notice. With less, the full fee is charged.
• Training ground or partial field hire: give at least 24 hours’ notice. With less, the full fee is charged.
• We don’t refund bookings. A valid cancellation becomes a credit on your account for a future booking.

• Credit can be used on anything the club offers, and expires 365 days after it was issued.
• If fees aren’t paid in full before a booking or competition starts, you may not be able to take part or enter the ground.
• Overdue accounts may be referred to a debt collection agency, and extra fees may be added.

Fees are paid in full when you register. They aren’t refundable, except where the law requires.

If a session is cancelled because of the weather or something else beyond our control, we’ll reschedule it or give you a credit.

Players, parents and spectators follow the club’s Code of Conduct. Disciplinary matters are handled under Football NSW’s Disciplinary Regulations for social football, in the edition current for that year.

Everyone takes part at their own risk, under Football NSW’s insurance programme.
