JDL Coach
Location: Sutherland Sharks Football Club, Miranda, NSW
Employment Type: Part-Time
Start Date: 2026 Season
About the Role
Sutherland Sharks FC is seeking passionate and committed coaches to join our Junior Development League (JDL) program for the 2025 season. With a dedicated JDL Technical Director and a clear development pathway, we’re building what we believe will be the leading JDL program in NSW.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a professional and supportive coaching environment focused on technical development, positive culture, and long-term player growth.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate training sessions in line with the club’s playing philosophy.
Provide clear, constructive feedback to players and parents.
Work collaboratively with the JDL Technical Director and other coaches.
Assist with player assessments, reporting, and development plans.
Attend matches, training sessions, and coach development workshops as required.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum FA Skill Training Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Experience coaching players aged 9–12.
A positive, energetic attitude and commitment to long-term player development.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
Current Working With Children Check (mandatory).

Youth Coach
Location: Sutherland Sharks Football Club, Miranda, NSW

About the Role
Sutherland Sharks FC is currently hiring experienced Youth Coaches for our U13–U18 program in 2025. With a proud tradition of producing elite talent and a strong technical team in place, we’re committed to providing a high-performance environment that supports both player and coach development.
We’re seeking driven, organised, and passionate coaches who understand the demands of NPL-level youth football and are committed to helping young players reach their potential—on and off the pitch.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and run engaging, structured training sessions aligned with the club’s football philosophy.
Provide detailed player feedback, evaluations, and ongoing development plans.
Work closely with the Head of Youth and Technical Director.
Contribute to match day planning, video analysis, and performance reviews.
Be a positive role model and uphold the values and standards of the club.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum FA C Licence (or higher).
Coaching experience at NPL or equivalent youth level.
Strong understanding of player development principles and game model application.
Confident communicator with a professional approach.
Available for weeknight training and weekend matches.
Current Working With Children Check (mandatory).
