The Sharks Foundation ensures talent and passion alone determine who wears our badge. By funding scholarships and youth programs, we’re removing barriers to build a more inclusive future for the Shire.

PILLAR ONE

PLAYER SCHOLARSHIPS

Registration fees can now cost families many thousands of dollars, creating a significant barrier to the game. Our Youth Scholarship Program fully or partially covers these expenses for current Sutherland Sharks players, ensuring talent, not budget, defines who wears our badge. By investing in coaching and wellbeing alongside these scholarships, we are shaping the next generation of footballers across the Sutherland Shire.

Current players can apply for a Full or Partial Scholarship today.

PILLAR TWO

Community Connection

The Sharks Foundation deepens our bond with the Sutherland Shire by making football accessible to all. Your contribution funds discounted clinics and holiday camps, while supporting school partnerships that bring elite coaching directly to local students. By promoting resilience and teamwork, we’re helping young people grow on and off the pitch, ensuring a stronger, healthier football community for the future.

DONATE

Supporters often ask how they can help. The Sharks Foundation offers a direct and tax-deductible way to give back to the Sharks and our community.

The Sharks Foundation is proudly partnered with the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) — Australia’s national non-profit sports fundraising body. All donations of $2 or more made via the ASF are tax-deductible, with funds granted back to our approved project under full transparency and accountability.
