Blacktown City FC

Saturday night football returns to Seymour Shaw—and this one could shape the season.

On Saturday, July 19, we’re back under the lights for a 7:30 PM kick-off as Sutherland Sharks host Blacktown City FC in a must-win fixture at the business end of the campaign.

5pm: U20’s Kick off
5.30pm: Smithy’s and Sunday Road Beer Garden Open
7.30pm First Grade Kick Off

Blacktown come into this one with a reputation built on structure, physicality and relentless work rate. They’re compact, hard to break down, and sharp on transition—one of the most well-drilled sides in the league. To take the points, we’ll need composure in possession, clarity in the final third, and the discipline to stay switched on for 90 minutes. Expect a tight, tactical battle where the smallest details will decide the outcome.

But there’s more to match day than just the football.

We’re making Seymour Shaw the place to be on Saturday night—with something for everyone, on and off the pitch.

Chase the Shark will be on again!

🎨 Free face painting and kids’ games will be running throughout the evening to keep the little ones smiling.
Giveaways and activations will be popping up around the ground.
🍟 Our canteen will be serving all the match day staples, hot and ready.
🍺 The Sunday Road Beer Garden is open for those looking to enjoy a local craft brew with mates.
🍸 And of course, Smithy’s Bar is open pre- and post-match, with music, atmosphere and player presentations to cap off the night.

Bring your family, bring your friends, bring your voice. This team feeds off the energy from the stands—and with everything on the line, your support matters more than ever.

Tickets are on sale now—don’t miss a huge night at Seymour Shaw.
