Sharks Junior TournAments
Sutherland Sharks FC are excited to announce our July School Holidays Junior Tournament for U7, U8 & U12 girls & boys.
We're hosting the junior football tournament at Seymour Shaw Stadium, with each age group having their own full day of football action. A chance for your kids to have a great day out while our Club Technical staff observe the fantastic football being played in our local community.
This is a full-day World Cup-style tournament for all ages. Group stages, finals, off-pitch activations, a presentation ceremony hosted by the Sharks staff on the day.
The cost is $60/player. The most cost-effective local tournament in the Sutherland Shire. As spots are limited, please register your team ASAP to avoid missing out. You can register by clicking the button below.
What to Expect:
Under 7s - 4-a-side. Group stage followed by a Champions Cup and Trophy Shield finals bracket - so every team plays right through to the end, regardless of results.
Under 8s - Same format, bigger teams of 7-a-side.
Under 12s - Same format, bigger teams of 9-a-side.
What Happens on the Day?
While teams are off the pitch, kids won't just be sitting around. We've got activations planned throughout the day to keep things buzzing:
Speed Shooting Cage - how hard can you strike it?
Soccer Darts - aim for the bullseye with a football
1v1 Tournament - an open bracket running all day. Any player can enter. One champion crowned at the end.
How it Ends
Both the Champions Cup and Trophy Shield Grand Finals are followed by a presentation ceremony hosted by Sharks coaching staff. Every finalist walks away with something to show for it.
