Sharks Family Day: Jumping Castles, Face Painting & More!

If you’ve managed to get to a First Grade home game in the last month or so, you would have noticed something special—the fans! Lots of them! From young families new to the Sharks through to lifelong supporters, the place has been buzzing.

We have been blown away by the local support since completing our big facilities upgrade at Seymour Shaw. Our crowds have more than tripled from this time last year and we are averaging more than 1,000 people through the gate every home game. We’re seeing excited kids lining up for autographs and merchandise flying off shelves. This means so much to the players on the pitch, and to us as a club.

A few shots from our recent home games. The atmosphere has been amazing!

We want to step back for a moment, and say thank you. Thank you for getting behind your local team. Thank you for bringing your friends and family who might not have been to a game before. And a big thank you to our amazing volunteers who give their time so generously each week.

Introducing Family Day, Saturday June 21

To keep the good times going, we’re ramping up the fun for the kids at our next home game on Saturday, June 21, a massive derby clash against local rivals St George. Among other things, this will include:

  • A giant jumping castle in our new kids area.

  • Colourful free face painting.

  • Interactive half-time entertainment the kids can get involved in.

  • Plenty of additional activities guaranteed to keep kids of all ages smiling and entertained.

Gates open and the fun commences from 2.30pm, with First Grade kicking off at 4pm.

We’d love to see as many families as possible at Seymour Shaw - you can buy your match tickets here. Come enjoy a fantastic Saturday afternoon filled with great food, football and community spirit.
