New Signing: Diego Bonilla

We're delighted to welcome striker Diego Bonilla to Sutherland for the rest of the 2026 season.

Diego joins us off the back of a stint in Uruguay with Durazno FC, bringing a mix of international experience and A-League exposure through his time at Macarthur Bulls. He knows the competition well, having played for Marconi Stallions, Blacktown Spartans, Northbridge & Macarthur Bulls in the past, spending good time in the NPL pathway.

What gets us excited about Diego is his mentality in the final third. He's a goalscorer who loves the ball at his feet, quick to take people on and even quicker to shoot. That directness and intent up front is exactly what we need as we build on this season. He's also got familiarity with Seymour Shaw, having played here before, so he'll slot in quickly.
